Please read the return policy carefully before purchasing through the website. By purchasing through the website you agree with all the terms of the return policy.
A. Return items must be in their original, new, and unused condition and must include all original, undamaged packaging.
B. Evening Star Coffee Roasters website will not authorize any return after 14 days from the date of the customer transaction.
C. All returns must be pre-approved with an issued ESCR Return Authorization Code. We will not accept a return without an issued ESCR Return Authorization Code. To obtain an ESCR Return Authorization Code you must request one by contacting us directly by phone or through the Contact Us section of this website. Please be sure to include your transaction number, date of your transaction, and item(s) you wish to return. Please allow for 1-2 business days to receive a response from Evening Star Coffee Roasters.
Return Shipping Guidelines
We cannot be responsible for returns that are lost or misdirected, so we recommend you return it by a method that allows tracking with insurance.
A. Upon our acceptance of product return, we will credit the original purchase price of the merchandise to the credit card used for the original transaction minus shipping charges. For merchandise purchased with a gift certificate, we will refund the balance due to a new gift certificate. Fine Art, Gift Certificates, Gift Packages, Special Orders, Fresh Roasted Coffee, Wholesale Account Items and Coffee Subscriptions are non-refundable.
B. Additional charges may be assessed when products returned are missing secondary items such as manuals and accessories. Evening Star Coffee Roasters will determine the appropriate charges necessary.
C. It may take up to 15 business days from the date we receive returned merchandise for the processing of credit to be applied.
Non-Returnable, Non-Defective & Defective Merchandise
A. We will not accept returns on custom or special-order purchases unless our quality department determines the quality and workmanship to be anything less than our highest quality standards.
B. Non-Defective items returned in conformity with the policies herein are subject to a 30% restocking charge, with a minimum charge of $15.
C. Defective merchandise may be accepted for repair or replacement at Evening Star Coffee Roasters discretion. We reserve this right. If customer misuse is found during our quality department inspection no action will be taken and any warranty shall be considered VOID. We will reimburse you for your original purchase and shipping expenses for products we determine are defective.
Canceling an order placed through this website
We start the fulfillment process within hours, so the amount of time that has elapsed will determine if a cancellation is possible. Please submit a “Transaction Cancellation Request” through the Contact Us section of this website. If the item(s) have already been roasted, packaged, and shipped a cancellation request cannot be authorized. You will then need to follow the return procedures outlined in this policy after merchandise has been shipped.
